I have had the honor of working closely with all 3 of them in the past, and each piece feels very close to me. The second half is made up of pieces written in the last half of the 20th century. Although using conventional harp techniques, these pieces all succeed in exploring new dimensions of the harp. With this program, you should be able to enjoy the many 'faces' of the harp to the fullest. Many standard pieces from the harp repertoire are included here, and most of the pieces have been very close to me throughout the past 20 years. The Bunka Kaikan Recital Hall has always played an important role in the Japanese classical music scene.
